Show used in page assets in separate block

It would be nice to show all related to current page uploaded assets in common area/block within page, with using thumbnails for media and icons for most common types (zip, pdf, etc.).
Otherwise it's too easy to miss attachments on page, when them look as links throughout the page.

This would be great. When I want to just attach PDFs for extra information, they'll be just links by default. I'd like the Slack style file attachment with icons.
And some of the assets could be uploaded as attachments only, without linking them within the page first. On our wiki, I've done some CSS hackery to show pdf file links as blocks with icons.
