Yeah, I agree with this. It would be nice to be able to add anything to the sidebar. This way we could add stuff that we would want people to see on every page, such as widgets(for example I usually use a Discord widget on my sites), calendar, social media links, featured pages, recent pages, recent edits, visitor statistics etc.
