This is an absolute must have and the lack of this feature is the only reason I'm not switching from mediawiki to wiki.js.
The primary value of wikis is the way they make it easy to link and create pages through wikitext syntax.
If I'm writing an article on single page apps and I sa that [[ReactJS]] is a popular example that is made by [[Facebook]] , I can type it out like that in wikitext and get it to automatically create those pages automatically. It allows for a very swift and easy way to create a whole bunch of pages extremely quickly. Currently, all pages have to be created manually and this simply defeats the whole point of a wiki in my opinion. Without these kinds of wikitext and autolinking features, wiki.js is really more of a CMS with a focus on knowledgebase use cases. PicoCMS already can do that just fine. Wordpress can already do that just fine. There's tons and tons of static site generators that use markdown to produce linked pages. So to me this really really a more robust auto linking feature or else it serves very little unique value.
Which is a shame because this is an excellent product from what I've seen so far and I'm very very impressed! You've done a great job so far! The multimedia management is on point.
