Link to file on the network
planned

Id like to be able to link to a file on the LAN.
Example: File
This works in chrome but when you save this in the wiki it removes the colon so it cant find that location. Adding the colon in manually in the browser bar allows you to navigate to the specified file.

It is still not possible to link to a local file.. Any news about the planning?

Hi, has someone found a workaround for this? I'd like my users to be able to click on a link and play a training video on a local network drive

Hello,
nothing news about this feature ?

Vaillant Aurelien: I'd also love a solution (or possible workaround?) to this issue. We have installed Wiki.js on our local NAS and are intending to use it as a consolidation of production instructions/manuals. The manuals are themselves located on the NAS (via shared & mapped drives in Windows). The "file:///" solution would be perfect, but it appears that the Wiki.js editors strip this prefix and/or the browsers disallow it.
I'd prefer not to have to upload the various PDFs/files into the Wiki.js assets as it will be a duplication of data and therefore a maintenance nightmare.
