New page should select location where created from
Sander Kaldenhoven
When creating a new page the selected page location would be the location where the page creation button was pressed.
So if page Cake is visible in the path /Recipes/Sweet/Cake and New Page is being created the base New page location would then be /Recipes/Sweet/new-page
This would help when bulk adding new pages to a certain location.

Non-techy users are completely lost and literally unable to use Wiki.js. I cannot believe this is not a top priority to enhance with THOUSANDS of upvotes!
ONE click is your goal. Try notion.io and you'll see what proper UX is for creating new pages!!! Shawn McNaughton also nailed it in his points here.

This would be a massive improvement. It takes 3-4 clicks to get the location you want, then you have to modify the name.
Would especially like if the 'calculated' folder path was NOT editable in the text box.

Yes, default path for new pages should not be root but the current context

Also, would help if the same principle would apply when duplicating a page. The default path option should be in the same folder as the current page / duplicated page is. Now one has to browse to the correct folder instead first.
