Some users that are not registered may want to switch to the dark theme, but they can't do it without registration. What about placing this switcher in the footer?

I think it could have an option to toggle the contrast independently of the profile.

There should be such a button next to the Profile icon. Along with a button to change the language.

Rafael Moreira: On a great many sites it is like this. This button needs to be clearly visible so that you can switch to dark mode right away, and not close too bright a page.
