Feature requests may not get fully reviewed until it comes time to actually work on them, which can often take months. The fact that it wasn't closed means that on the surface, it looks legitimate.

Posting multiple :( :| doesn't add anything useful to the request and is literally spam. If you're not happy with the speed things are going, then feel free to use another software with paid support. This ain't it.
