Looking for a nice way to share (formatted) wiki pages with external links intact

Writing tables in markdown is very difficult and annoying. It would be nice if you could add this ( https://github.com/susisu/mte-kernel ) or similar package to handle them. This looks easy to implement, and could improve markdown a lot. A little effort will bring many benefits.

Currently when moving or renaming a page, all existing links point to the old page. The correct behaviour would be to update all links to the new page, either optional or explicit.

Add a feature to tag/mention other users of this wiki in native comments (e.g. ' Hi, @AndrewK') with autocomplete suggestions. The tagged user should receive either an email notification or a notification in the user area in the wiki itself.

It would be great, to add an embedded way for PDFs.

It would be great to have an administration tool in "utilities > content" which would allow to list all pages containing broken links. The tool should be able at least to list broken links pointing to internal pages of the wiki instance. An advanced feature could be to list broken links that point to external pages. It would ease greatly the maintainance of the wiki and keeping it up to date. Thank you in advance

Currently, the visual editor is missing various features that are available in the markdown editor. Examples: changing the quote design, adding footnotes, and the option to add a horizontal bar. For a modern wiki system, it would be really nice to see all these features to be working in the visual editor, so that users don’t have to learn markdown.

To be able to open images that are inserted on the page in a popup/modal window or in a FancyBox/Lightbox. Also, to have varius types of galleries, sliders and slideshows for the images.

A modular notification system. Users, User groups, Admins can be notified about events. For example: Content events (new page, updated page, deleted page) Admin events (new registration, failed login attempts, failed git sync,....).

In case we want a unique wikijs entrypoint for doc, it would be great than wikijs in background made available multiple projet/repo as page sync. For example if on gitlab i have 2 wiki repo: myproject1.wiki .git myproject2.wiki .git Add form in wikijs to add the both repo to sync with, and defining a namespace each to avoid name page/content collisions Displaying in wikijs as root dir: myproject1 - page1 - page2 and myprojet2 - page1 - page2
